Meet Our Team

From Left to Right: Ashley (Vet Tech), Dr. Catt, Lauren (Office Manager)

Dr. Danna Catt truly loves being a veterinarian.  It provides the perfect balance of medicine, surgery, and interactions with pets and their owners.  She believes loving people, as well as animals, provides a unique ability to communicate and ultimately decide the best care for your pet.

Dr. Catt was born and raised in Montana, where most of her extended family still resides.  The friendliness, home-like feel of the clinic, and the time spent with every client and animal probably carry over from growing up in a rural community.

Dr. Catt graduated with a BS degree in Zoology from Oregon State University in 1994, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 1998.  She has been practicing in Medford for the past twelve years, and has owned her own practice for over four years now.

Besides animals and veterinary medicine, Dr. Catt has a busy household and life outside of work.  She has two children, Bren who is 13 years old and Aessa who is 11.  They are both very active in school and sports, which leads to fulfilling afternoons and evenings of running kids to activities and school events, as well as working on school projects.  At home, there are also two cats and one dog to keep her busy.  Izzy is a pure bred Ragdoll, Gabe is a pure bred Bengal, and Cherry is the resident Standard Poodle.

Outside of kids and work, Dr. Catt enjoys food, wine and travel.  Skiing is a big part of her winter recreation, and golfing and running are her spring and summer hobbies.  Dr. Catt loves social activity, and enjoys being out with friends and having people over for good food and good conversation.  She is an avid reader and is interested in music and the arts.

Ashley has worked at the clinic since November of 2008. She works full time assisting the doctor, caring for hospitalized pets, and performing lab work and x-rays. In addition, she is responsible for our office supply inventory. Ashley loves helping animals, working alongside the veterinarian and educating clients about how to care for their pets. Her favorite aspects of her job are new puppy and kitten visits, and assisting in major internal surgeries.

Ashley and her husband Tomas have two children, and they share their home with three dogs: Baby Girl, Cholo and Tito, and two cats: Schmitty and Cuervo. She loves spending time at the lake: camping, boating, and jet-skiing. Ashley also enjoys family barbecues, going to the movie theatre with her kids and just being outside.

Lauren has been employed by the clinic since July of 2008. She works full time as a receptionist/office manager, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments and greeting patients. Lauren also attends to our cat and dog kennels, ensuring that all patients have a clean, comfortable environment during their stay with us. In addition she assists with blood draws, x-rays and lab work. She always provides our hospitalized patients with individualized, compassionate care, whether it's giving special treats to rabbits, combing a dog, or snuggling with a cat.

Lauren shares her home with her adorable cat Hula. Her hobbies are gardening, riding/training horses, art, jewelry design, and exercising. She also enjoys meeting new interesting people, being with friends and family and watching movies.
